Pennsic Map Image Maps
This directory contains several HTML files with image maps of the Pennsic map.
Below is a complete list of all the files, but the files of interest are:
- pennsic_map.html
The latest version for general use, meant to be usd on the pennsic land site main map page to make it easier for people to find and load their PDF block map.
When you click on the block it opens the PDF block map in a new tab.
Note, pennsic_map_01, pennsic_map_02, pennsic_map_03, etc, below, are substantially the same and reflect changes in the internal HTML to make maintenance easier. The original image map was generated with UUIDs (unique, random values) to identify each image map. This version uses the block numbers instead of UUIDs in the HTML tags.
- pennsic_map_block_finder.html
Block finder version: Also for general use, to help people find their block without having to visually search the map.
This page includes a list of block names on the right. If you click on the block name, the block will be highlighted on the map in yellow.
It also does everything the general use version does, i.e. highlights the block when you hover over it, and opens the PDF block map when you click on the block.
- pennsic_map_report3.html
Report version; not fully baked yet, this is the latest version of a work in progress, attempting to make an easy way to have blocks highlighted according to some criteria, for use by the land site/land personnel.
